The following guide will show you how to make a slideshow using Fotophire Slideshow Maker on your Mac computer in detail.
Go to Finder > Applications and find Fotophire Slideshow Maker, and double-click the icon to start the program. Or you can right-click the program and start it.
The first step is selecting a template for your slideshow from the menu bar at the left side of the program window.
Add Photos & Videos: Scan the folders at the lef side of the program window to select photos and videos, or you can drag and drop the files into the program directly. After adding the photos or videos, you can do:
Add a New Style: Besides the main style you use, you’re also allowed to add a new style to your slideshow. You can call up the panel at the bottom of the program window, and click the Add Style button to add a new template to your slideshow.
Add Intro: You can add text to your slideshow to express yourself. You’ll only need to click the Add Intro button below the Add Style button. Then you can add text into the slideshow.
Arrange Order of Your Photos/Videos: You can arrange the order that the photos or videos show in your slideshow. You only need to call up the panel at the bottom of the program window, and drag the thumbnail of your photos or videos to the position you want.
Edit Photos or Videos: You can edit your photos or videos in the program as well. You only need to move your mouse onto the thumbnail of the picture, and click the Edit icon at the lower-right bottom, then you can enter the editing window.
Change Style: If you’re not satisfied with the current style you’re using, you can change another style by clicking the Switch button at the left side of the panel.
Add Music as Background Music: In the left sidebar of the program window, you can choose the Music tab, and add music from your computer. Or you can select the Fantashow Music folder and select the preset music files.
Edit Music: Move your mouse to the name of the music file, and you’ll see the Edit button at the right side. Click the button to call up the editing dialog.
Trim Music: You can trim the music files by setting the Trim Start and Trim End time. Then click the Play Trim Music to check whether the music is OK. Or you can use the full music track for your slideshow.
Audio Settings: You can make settings for your slideshow music.
Now it’s time to save or share your slideshow. You’re allowed to do make following choices:
Computer: Select a video format for output, and then choose the video quality of your slideshow. After that, you can name your slideshow and choose a location to save it. Then you’ll need to click the Create button to create your slideshow.
Device: Select the device you want to create your slideshow for, and then select the quality of the slideshow. After that, select a target folder to save your video, and click the Create button to making a slideshow for your device.
DVD: Name your DVD, select quality and TV standard, then check Burn to DVD, and select the Burning Device you want to use. After that, check whether you want to create DVD folder or ISO files, and select a target folder to save your files. Then click the Create button to create the slideshow.
Social: Select a social sharing site you’d like to share the video, and click the Share button to share the videos to the social sharing site.
