Windows has announced that Photo Gallery will no longer be available for download, however, if you still have a version of this software installed on your computer here is how you can make a black and white photo.

  • Open your photo in the Photo Gallery, and click on the Edit button.
  • Locate the Black & White icon in the Effects group and then click on it to apply the effect to your photo. Save the changes you've made by clicking on the Close File option.
